Anti Ragging Committee
Anti-Ragging Committee will be the Supervisory and Advisory Committee in preserving a Ragging Free Environment in the college Campus. The primary function of the committee is to look into the nuisance of ragging and methods to prevent it.
Ensure implementation and compiiance of the UGC/AICTEICTEI GTU regulations, direcrions and other
instructions issued by competent authorities concerning prevention and prohibition ofragging.
Creale awareness among students, parents/guardians, faculty and staff regarding the prohibition of ragging, its
consequences and the instilutional zero-tolerance policy.
ldentily and periodically review vulnerable locations/ "hot spots" in academic blocks, hostels, canteen,
playgrounds, lransport areas and other campus premises, and recommend preventive measures.
Receive, examine and promplly act upon complainls or informalion relating to ragging, while maintaining
confi dentiality and protecting complainants/witnesses from victimisation.
Coordinate with the Anti-Ragging Squad, Hostel Rector/Wardens, Security Staff, local police and other
concemed authorities for prevention, monitoring and immediate response.
Maintain proper records of complaints, actions taken, awareness activities, meetings and compliance, and
submit reports to the Principal/competent authority as required.
Conduct periodic meetings and review the effectiveness ofanti-ragging measures, particularly at the beginning
ofeach academic session and during other vulnerable periods.
